We're thrilled to be running a select screening of the award-winning 'The Artist', at the University's first pedal-powered cinema!

Being run alongside local company Outspoken, viewers will all be invited to help drive the cinema. If you're feeling like sitting back and watching then please don't worry, that's fine too!

Winner of 5 Oscars, 7 awards at the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs), 6 César Awards, a Golden Globe, and many more – and let's not forget the Cannes Film Festival's Palm Dog Award to Uggie – join us for a real treat.

Doors open at 5.30pm for a 6pm start. There will be drinks and snacks available to buy, and free popcorn!

The University of Cambridge spends £1,825 every hour on energy and has an urgent need to reduce its energy use and carbon emissions.

Switch Off Week, beginning 10th November, is all about working together to reduce the University’s energy use taking those small actions which can add up to a big difference – join us to celebrate a week's success of people across the University switching off lights, computers and heaters!
