About this event

Frank Tory was an architectural sculptor working in Sheffield and other towns and cities during the last quarter of the nineteenth century. His carving adorns many Victorian religious and secular buildings in the City and this talk features his work in churches and on commercial buildings in particular. Frank had twin sons who were equally gifted and around 1900 he formed the firm of Frank Tory & Sons which continued his work into the twentieth century.
