About this event

The Symposium on Scots Evidence Law: The Moorov Doctrine will gather researchers and other interested parties together to discuss an issue of contemporary importance in Scotland: mutual corroboration or "the Moorov Doctrine". The event will be hosted in-person at Civic House, Glasgow or online (details will be circulated upon registration) between 11am-3pm on the 24th September 2025.

This symposium offers a welcoming environment to share critical insights and develop relations between those with an interest in evidence law. It is first and foremost an opportunity to create connections and ground future reflection.

The schedule of speakers, and additional information, will be circulated in advance of attendance.
