Overview

Experience the 3D world of the Tattoo Synthetic Machine by Putpipat Tamtantiwattana (MA Fine Art: Computational Arts)

Drawing on ongoing research into synthetic embodiment and digital animism, Putpipat Tamtantiwattana (MA Fine Art: Computational Arts) presents an integration of the noise-ambient sounds that transverse into the 3D world of the Tattoo Synthetic Machine within TouchDesigner and Unreal Engine.

Part of an afternoon programme exploring technology and the (post)human condition, also featuring Filling the Void.

This event is part of Metabolizer: a celebration of research activating practice, hosted by MA Fine Art Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London, in the South London Gallery’s Clore Studio.

Foregrounding the creative metabolisms of art practice: processing, absorbing, transforming, exchanging. Together, we will explore how practice can be activated through generative encounters with audiences, breaking down and building up artistic research in the process.

Metabolizer presents a daily public programme of performances, screenings, talks and workshops, alongside artist books, essays and zines. With new work by graduating students from MA Fine Art: Computational Arts, MA Fine Art: Drawing, MA Fine Art: Painting, MA Fine Art: Printmaking, MA Fine Art: Photography, and MA Fine Art: Sculpture.
