The day long workshop will cover:

Building trust in the teams that we lead is critical to shared success. But where are the boundaries of leadership? Should we just concentrate on our own specific teams or maybe, as well, broaden our outlook to include systems in which we operate? What partnerships and understanding do we need to develop to improve health and care for our patients and organisations? How might this benefit us as leaders and the communities that we serve? How can we influence and contribute to system improvement? What skills will serve us and those whom we need to collaborate with?

This brand-new Systems Leadership workshop from the IHSCM will help you to answer these questions and develop your understanding of how a systems approach might help you in your leadership development. We will explore:-

  • How to earn trust
  • What people need of their leaders and influencers
  • How compassion contributes to teamship and performance
  • Why collaboration is so desirable, particularly in an island community
  • How the Cynefin model works and how it was developed
  • A series of case studies focused on systems leadership from across the UK
