Taste Hungary's famous fruit brandy, the Pálinka! While attending an interactive and interesting exhibition about the history of Pálinka in Hungary.You can even make your very own traditional Hungarian Pálinka as the museum also has many interesting digital tools. It is located in the heart of Budapest and it’s mission is to familiarize the history of this delicious Hungarian beverage with people coming from all around the World.

During the tasting, professional Pálinka makers will present interesting facts about this special spirit, and the right ways of tasting it, in an exclusive ambiance. Not in the mood for a Palinka shot? Not a problem! Let us introduce you to the delicious and unique Palinka cocktail, or if you want to keep a clear head just enjoy our virgin cocktails.

We don't want you to leave hungry! Now you can choose to add in a Hungarian Plate as well!

The cold plate includes: slices of fresh crusty bread; a variety of fresh, sliced vegetables, such as sweet Hungarian vax pepper, hot peppers, tomato wedges, onion rings and cucumber slices; a variety of meat, such as spiced, rustic Hungarian sausages, smoked ham and greaves; and last but not least a spiced cottage cheese spread which is a must when it comes to trying Hungarian food.

Enjoy one of Budapest’s most remarkable Baths, the Széchenyi Spa, with it’s 15 indoor pools and 3 open air bathing facilites the spa is considered to be one of the largest in Europe. The bath’s real peculiarity is its largest outdoor thermal pool with a consistently 40°C water providing magnificent recreational pleasures in the coldest days of winter as well. The Széchenyi Spa is feeding from the city’s extended thermal spring network running below our feet.

Know before you go:

  • Palinka Museum (H-1061 Budapest, Király street 20. ) opening hours: 13:00 - 22:00 everyday
  • Széchenyi Spa (H - 1146, Budapest, Állatkerti krt. 9-11) Check in is between 09:00–18:00. The facility closes at 22:00 and the guests may stay until closing time.
  • Pálinka tasting is not available for minors under the age of 18 (the legal drinking age of Hungary).
  • The two activities can be booked for different days - in this case please contact provider directly.
  • Transfer between vanues or to/from guests' residence is available at extra charge - please inquire about prices from provider.
