About this event
Kim Searle will show you how to upcycle t-shirts into fabulous macrame plant hangers. Kim will demonstrate basic skills with little twists and more advanced techniques
There will be tips on where to look for further inspiration and plenty of time for questions.
This is part of our series of events exploring crafts and the natural world.
Our online Zoom sessions are designed to support your wellbeing and health through creativity and are for all abilities, no experience required. We focus on reusing materials you can find around your home or natures discards. You can be sure of a warm welcome, we hope you leave feeling relaxed, having spent time in a friendly place learning something new.

About Kim Searle
Kim Searle is based in Huddersfield and runs workshops with a strong focus on creativity as an aid for wellbeing and positive mental health. Kim's seen the difference creativity can make to mental health and loves to give people a moment of calm to take care of their own well-being. She focusses on workshops with recycled materials and things people can easily find around their house.
Kim has partnered with lots of different venues and groups including the Biscuit Factory in Newcastle, Frank & Olive’s Crochet Retreat, Holmfirth ArtWeek. She also runs workshops at festivals including Glastonbury, Green Man, End of the Road, Underneath the Stars, Deershed, Wychwood, FarmFest, BeatHerder and more.
