An informal monthly social meetup open to trans and non-binary people (16+) in Edinburgh
About this event
Come along for light refreshments and a chat in a friendly and relaxed environment. The meetup includes an optional event or activity involving a range of interests, information and activities.
Who we welcome
We welcome all trans folks including trans women/female/feminine, trans men/male/masculine, genderqueer, non-binary, as well as intersex people, people who cross-dress or who are exploring their gender identity. Anyone in or travelling to Edinburgh can join.
Registration
Spaces are limited so we need you to register in advance. The capacity of this event is 30 people.
Bookings are for 1 person, not groups. Even if you and a friend or partner share an email address, you must make one booking per person.
If something changes and you can no longer attend the meetup, please let us know as soon as you can so your booking becomes available for someone else.
The venue
We will be meeting at LGBT Health and Wellbeing's office at Duncan Place Community Hub. More information about venue access after registration.
Access
2 disabled parking spaces are available on the grounds of the venue.
The venue is wheelchair accessible with ramp access and automatic doors.
There is a lift to access the different floors of the building.
There are accessible gender neutral toilets available.
If there is anything you need to talk to us in advance to help you access the event, please email Ryan: ryan@lgbthealth.org.uk or leave a message for Ryan on 0131 564 3970.
COVID-19
As of 18th April, all COVID rules and restrictions were lifted in Scotland. However, the virus has not gone away. The Scottish Government is now promoting the use of “COVID sense” to inform how best to protect people. With that in mind, we are continuing to have COVID safety measures in place to reduce risk though we know risk can never be reduced to zero. Any event may be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances or if Scottish Government guidance changes.
