Cornwall Hospice Care are running a series of face-to-face training sessions for Registered Nurses who are either first time users or require annual update training on the CME Medical (formerly known as McKinley) T34 2nd Edition syringe driver.

This training session counts as 3 hours towards Continuing Professional Development required by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

The training will include:-

Theory: Clinical governance, duties and responsibilities, indications for use, preparation, record keeping, and trouble shooting

Practical: Simulation and assessment in the first time set up of syringe driver/change of prescription, and replacement syringes

A certificate will be awarded on successful completion of the simulated practical assessment and accurate completion of the Learning Checklist.
