Workshop Outline
Decontamination and Deconfusion are two pillars of treatment planning, and as Transactional Analysists it is important to know what are the differences of working in each sphere, and even is it possible to separate out this work.
In this workshop we will consider how to know what type of work your doing, and help aim your work to best support either task. We will start with understanding the differences, practically considering the implications to our work.
Aims
The aim to support peoples understanding of Decontamination and Deconfusion, how to identity the different work, and practically utilize each skill set. We will also consider how to write about this.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will have an understanding of Decontamination and Deconfusion, how to clearly know which is which and how to most effectively work in either.

Ben is a psychotherapist based in York, previously a social worker for over 10 years, Ben started his private practice ‘Flux Therapy’ in 2019. In addition to offering psychotherapy and training, Ben also offers supervision and consultancy. Ben has a deep passion for working with and helping people in the most effective ways he can.
