Who is it aimed at
Psychotherapy trainees and TA Qualified Practitioners.
Workshop Outline
Since its conception as part of the integrative school of TA, ‘Relational Needs’, have been written about a lot and have been considered about in many ways. In this workshop we will explore in depth the original theory of ‘Relational Needs’, consider how they link to a range of other TA theories such as Protocol and Script, and even consider how they might be used intrapsychically.
This can be a really powerful tool not just for how we set up our relationship with the client but also as a way for resolving childhood trauma.
Aims
The Aim of this workshop is to give an in-depth understanding of ‘Relational needs’ and how to practically support them.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will have a theoretical and practical understanding of Relational Needs, and how they can use it in their client work.
