The History of the Tabernacle Prayer.
What is the Tabernacle Prayer Pattern?
The Tabernacle represents the different stations of prayer before entering the Holy of Hollies. In order to meet and spend time with God in prayer we have to cleanse and purify ourselves of our sins, judgments, fears and worries. We enter the Holy of Holies by praise once we have cleansed our self. Each prayer station has a different meaning with different prayers to clear and purify oneself. This was created by Moses and mostly read about in the Old Testament of the Bible. In the New Testament, God again guides us to use the Tabernacle Prayer to connect with him. The Tabernacle also teaches on to connect with the Holy Spirit.
The Tabernacle Prayer is the true pattern of Prayer as described in the Old Testament. This prayer pattern helps us to build a true relationship with God. When we pray the Tabernacle prayer we follow God's guidance of what prayer should consist of and what is truely meant in the Old Testament.
What does the Tabernacle represent?
The Tabernacle illustrates Gods' pattern of worship. It holds the sequence to draw closer to him! The Tabernacle prayer guides us to find an intimate relationship with God that we desire. The Courtyard presents the Brazen Altar and the Laver. The Holy Place consists of the Candlesticks, as well as the Table of Showbread and the Altar of Incense. The Holy of Holies represents the Arc of the Covenant and where Gods' Mercy Seat reside.
According to the Word of God – "I am a priest in your temple, my body. My spirit is as the Holy of Holies. My mind is as the Holy Place. My physical body is as the Courtyard". We connect with God: body, mind and soul.
