Our Warwickshire educational conference on tackling Domestic Violence and Abuse (DVA) in faith communities, is on the 23rd of September 2014. It is open to national delegates. It follows our other similar events in Nottinghamshire, West Midlands, Leicestershire, and Derbyshire. We have uniquely designed this event to educate, empower & equip faith communities to effectively and efficiently tackle DVA cases that occur in their environments.
The event will be held at The Lord Leycester Hotel, 17 - 19 Jury Street, Warwick, Warwickshire, CV34 4EJ, from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Registration is at 9.00am. The event costs £30.00 per delegate. This fee covers conference fees, educational literature, lunch and refreshments. Get £5.00 off in our SPECIAL OFFER between the 2nd and the 12th of September.
The educational conference is ideal for multi-faith leaders, members of multi-faith communities, statutory service workers, academics, survivors of DVA, politicians, and professionals who work with victims and perpetrators of DVA. We strongly encourage you to attend the full conference for maximum benefit.
Our aim is to enhance understanding on the plight and struggles of victims of DVA in faith communities, which is normally worsened by untold difficulties they experience. Furthermore, we have prepared to deploy education on how to boldly and radically work with perpetrators of DVA, who are the key agents of DVA.
We will also deploy education on the impact of DVA on children in faith communities, and the challenges that they too face. Expect to leave the conference equipped, educated and empowered on how to assist adult and child victims in faith communities, while working effectively with perpetrators.
Our vision is to see faith communities transforming into fortresses of refuge and practical resources for adult and child victims and survivors, in a manner that does not compromise their safety and restoration. We also purpose to assist faith communities to become facilitators of the crucial work required in the positive transformation of perpetrators.
We therefore warmly invite you to join us at this event, created to significantly benefit Warwickshire's multi-cultural society. Kindly advise us of your dietary requirements. Further information is available at www.kahrmelwellness.com/events/. Follow at #SafeFaithCommunities on twitter.

When & Where
We are particularly dedicated to assisting adult & child survivors of Domestic Violence & Abuse (DVA), from diverse backgrounds, to rebuild & restore their lives, after they flee from the radically devastating complex experiences of DVA. We vitally focus on empowering them to reach their full potential, thereby experience the fullness of life.
In addition, we have a specialist service targeted at educating, equipping, & empowering faith communities to respond effectively to DVA cases that occur within their environment. This includes radically challenging perpetrators. More information available at www.kahrmelwellness.com.
