About this Event

We are pleased to invite you to an open session during the 1st meeting of the Citizenship in Higher Education network.

Staff at the University of Bath have developed a six-week course for undergraduate students on 'Tackling Hate Crime in Higher Education'. In this session, two of its creators - Dr. Aurelien Mondon and Josh Callander - will share their experience of creating and promoting the project, the importance of engaging students in conversations about hate crime and discrimination, and how we can respond to the growing number of hate-related incidents taking place on campuses in Europe.

More information on the 'Tackling Hate Crime in Higher Education' course can be found on the project website: www.tacklinghateinhe.co.uk

Citizenship in Higher Education Network

Established by the University of Bath, University of Lille, KU Leuven and Vesalius College, the Citizenship in Higher Education network aims to exchange ideas and best practice between academic and professional services staff working in the areas of student engagement, students as citizens, and diversity and inclusivity.

The open session will take place at the Bristol & Bath Brussels Office, 108 Rue du Trône, from 11:15-13:45 on Wednesday 11/09 and will also include a light lunch and networking.

Registration is now open via Eventbrite or BBBrussels@bristol.gov.uk. We look forward to welcoming you then!
