Event description

Description

Event Date: 9th November 2017

Time: All day

This event is run by Lee-Ann Fenge and Sally Lee as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2017, organised by Bournemouth University.

There is growing recognition from the government alongside health and social care agencies of the negative impact of loneliness on health and well-being. This event will provide a forum for staff from key agencies and the public to come together and explore current research, best practices and develop a new understanding of how loneliness can increase susceptibility to financial scam involvement and gain knowledge about how we can combat this threat through creativity and connections

Please note: this event has previously been marketed as The Impact of Financial Scams on Older People

This event is FREE to attend but registration is required.
