About this event

Whether we are driving for work or as part of our regular commute, running errands, using public transport, riding a bike or walking, we will encounter some form of road risk on an almost daily basis.

The risk increases for people who drive for work and it is estimated a third of all road traffic accidents involve someone at work. Once seen as a side issue, many of our members now see managing road risk as a core part of their health and safety strategy.

Over the last year, there have been fresh challenges as restrictions on numbers in vehicles has meant more vehicles and more people travelling alone.

So how do you address road risk in your business? Join the CIRAS team and your fellow members for the next in our series of learning webinars, to explore how members are supporting their staff to manage road risk.

We will be joined by Simon Turner, from Driving for Better Business, who will talk about the work they are doing to help support businesses in improving how they manage road risk. We will also hear from one of our members, Mark Barrett, from Redstone Rail.

Who should attend? This is a member-only event which is aimed at: CIRAS reps, health and wellbeing professionals, health and wellbeing champions or volunteers and anyone else with an interest in road risk Please pass this invite on to any colleagues who you think may be interested in joining us.

Note: our privacy notice can be found here: https://www.ciras.org.uk/privacy-notice/

What will we be discussing? If you’re thinking of attending here’s some questions to think about: *What are you doing to support your staff? *What challenges have you faced -and how have you overcome them? *What’s working for you? *What do you need help with?
