This Event is £5**

The £15 booking fee is a deposit with £10 redeemable after registering at the SKC arrivals desk. £5 goes towards the buffet lunch, refreshments and the eventbrite booking fee.


Join staff and volunteers from across Kent working in social justice, diversity, community safety and criminal justice to network, share best practice and gain practical tips and tools

  • Plenary sessions with keynote speakers and Q&A

  • Expert funding and SKC Employer Supported Volunteering advice in 1-2-1 sessions


Who should attend?

Staff and volunteers from Kent's charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises (VCSE) working in social justice, diversity, community safety and criminal justice.

Everything from community foodbanks, citizens advice, homelessness, disability and mental health, migrant help, BAME and LGBTQ to neighbourhood watch, domestic abuse services, victim support, rehabilitation of offenders and prevention of offending. Any advocacy or support groups for the vulnerable, marginalised, socially and economically disadvantaged or excluded in society.

Parking

Parking at the Mick Jagger Centre is free and there's plenty of spaces. It's approx 15 minutes to walk from Dartford Train Station or a short cab/bus ride. We are in the function room.

What time do I arrive?

Registration and networking breakfast from 9:15. Please arrive in plenty of time to register before your seminars, which start at 10:00.

How do I book seminars and 1-2-1 support sessions?

All seminars and 1-2-1 sessions are booked on a first come first served basis and spaces are limited

£5 Tickets

Buffet lunch, refreshments and booking fee included.

Eventbrite holds the £15 when you book online. Your £10 deposit is refunded by SKC via Eventbrite the day after the event. Eventbrite processes the £5 ticket payment 4-5 days after the event. Register at the SKC welcome/registration desk at the conferences to receive your deposit. Please bring your tickets with you.

Refunds:

We can't refund non-attendance but we are happy for you to transfer your ticket to a colleague, volunteer or another person working in the VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector).This means anyone from registered charities, not for profit organisations, voluntary, community and faith groups, sports and arts clubs and social enterprises. If you are unsure whether your organisation counts as a VCSE sector organisation, please contact Emma Cooney on 01843 609339 emma@strongerkentcommunities.org.uk.

Please let us know about the transfer in advance so we can change the delegate badges and registration details - or so we can offer your ticket to someone else.
