The Gronthee (http://www.gronthee.com/) brings you this unique event of exhibition, talk, music performance, and poetry recitation as part of exploring Tagore’s life in many different dimensions.


The photography exhibition renders photographic re-creation of Tagore's (The first Nobel Laureate from the East) real and fictional characters in the light of Rembrandt's painting as part of the 350th death anniversary of this great painter.

The characters of Tagore have been photographed in the form of powerful, poetic and strong visual way of Rembrandt’s painting by an award-winning photographer Pablo Khaled.

Anchored by poet Ahmed Kaysher and the editor of the Gronthee Shamim Shahan, the exhibition will run from Monday 2 December till Friday 6 December with a session of talk, recitation of poetry and music performance on Thursday 5 December in relation to the theme of photography from Tagore's compositions and poetry recitation with English translation.
