Tai Chi at the Croft is a gentle exercise class in our beautiful community garden five minutes’ walk from Victoria Road, Glasgow.
About this event
Come along and join our free outdoor Tai Chi classes at the Croft. Tai Chi helps relax the body and mind. The sessions we are putting on are for people who have never tried Tai Chi before.
The sessions will all start at 11am on the following days: Wednesday 29 June, Wednesday 6 July, Wednesday 13 July, Wednesday 20 July, Wednesday 27 July and Wednesday 3 August.
These six sessions, will take you from not knowing the first thing about Tai Chi to being able to complete some of the basic moves and enjoy the benefits of a more relaxed body and mind. However if you can’t make the first few sessions you are welcome to join the other sessions and the instructors will enable you to catch up. Each session will be 45 minutes long.
The Croft, where these sessions will take place, is a locked community garden on Queen’s Park recreation ground and the entrance is off the main path which runs through the ground.
The classes are outdoors, so participants should consider wearing clothes which suit the weather and if the sun is out, consider sun screen.
If you would like to participate either book the sessions you would like to come to on Eventbrite or come in to South Seeds’ unit at 514 Victoria Road and we can answer any questions you have and book the sessions for you.
