Is it like Yoga? Do I have to get on the ground?

No, and No :) Tai Chi can be completed seated but otherwise is all standing

30-34 minutes, unless there is a talk or group chat at the end (we're a friendly bunch) and then it is no more than hour. Do as much as you like.
