About this event

T'ai Chi is a gentle exercise system designed to promote well being, flexibility and good health through a series of slow, gentle movement sequences.

When practiced outdoors with others, T'ai Chi has the added benefits of boosting vitamin D levels, increasing oxygen levels in the blood and combatting social isolation.

In this 1- hour Taster session, we will learn short simple sequences to take away and incorporate into our daily routines.

No special equipment is required: please wear loose, comfortable clothing, flat shoes and bring water.

DO bear in mind this is Glasgow so please also bring waterproofs:)

While on-street parking is available on adjoining residential streets, we encourage smart travel by train, bus, bike or on foot.

NB although T'ai Chi is suitable for all ages, movements can be deceptively strenuous and we will be on our feet for the full hour so if you have any health issues please consult your doctor before attending this session.

We are East End T'ai Chi and have been delivering our classes throughout the east of our city - Bridgeton, Barlanak and Cranhill - for 15 years.

We are currently based at The Reidvale Centre in Dennistoun, where we deliver Early Birds (Beginners) and Yang-style 42 step form clsses on Mondays.
