Description

These are gentle movements coupled with the emphasis on abdominal breathing increases the mobility of the back, shoulders and the trunk as well as co-ordinations. When this is practiced daily, joints will become smooth and active, tendons, muscles and bones are strengthened, improving flexibility and suppleness to the body. These very gentle movements does not put any physical tension and stress onto the muscles of the body, with daily training, this can work deeper into the muscles tissues and can make muscle tissues smooth without knots which are often produced due to stress and tension. Shibashi not only benefits the body physically but mentally, it has a holistic approach to exercise. It is designed to relax the body and mind, reduced stress and anxiety.
