Tai Chi Taster Session

Tai chi is a series of gentle physical exercises and stretches. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi is sometimes described as meditation in motion because it promotes serenity through gentle movements — connecting the mind and body.

Approximate course length:

1 Hour

This course is for:

Anyone interested in Tai Chi and wants to gain a short introduction to what its all about.

The course will cover:

An introduction to tai chi and some short exercises for relaxation

This course will be delivered remotely via Microsoft Teams so you will be part of a live class, with a tutor, but with everyone doing the lessons at their own home.

There will be chance to ask questions.

Work outside of sessions:

This is not required, though we hope you will want to put what you have learned into practice.

Additional costs and what to prepare:

This course is offered free of charge and there are no other costs.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that enables you to move. We recommend that you don’t eat a large meal before coming along to this course.
