Event Details

take 5

Join us here at Design Council for the first of our new series of "take 5" talks with designers. These will happen on the last Thursday of every other month.

5 insights, 5 questions, 5 pounds

The "take 5" format is simple. We invite a designer to share five insights (spending about five minutes on each one). Then we open up to the floor for five questions. And tickets cost just £5 (including a free drink).

Morag Myerscough

We are thrilled to be kicking off the new year with the inimitable Morag Myerscough  come and chase away the January blues with a riot of colour.

Morag Myerscough is the founder of the multi-award winning Studio Myerscough. She studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, but her work challenges preconceptions about the discipline of graphic design. We love Morag's playful and bright style and the exciting way her "supergraphics" find a home in the built environment.

Design Council

Design Council’s purpose is to make life better by design. We are an independent charity and the government’s advisor on design. Our vision is a world where the role and value of design is recognised as a fundamental creator of value, enabling happier, healthier and safer lives for all. Through the power of design, we make better processes, better products, better places, all of which lead to better performance.
