Set out on a journey in the natural beauty of Alexander Park, Hastings. We are taking a line for a walk through drawing, starting from Art in the Park which is right in the center. This is a journey to re-kindle your love of drawing or to deepen your skills and awareness. Some mixed media materials are provided but feel free to bring your own sketchbook and outdoor working materials. You will be guided by your tutor on this journey. The aim is to complete a sequence of drawing exercises and to build on a final piece of work that reflects your journey. Please message me if you have any quesitons in advance.

10. 15- 11.15 Four guided drawing sequences out in the park

11.15-11.30 (approx) short break back at Art in the Park

11.30 - 12.30 Bring your journey to a finished piece of work with tutorial support

Frequently asked questions

Can I bring my own materials?

Yes, if you have materials you want to try out or get advice on by all means bring along your own kit.

What if I don't bring anything or I've forgotten everything ?

Some basic materials provided - you will be able to take part - I won't see you stuck and you might surprise yourself so don't turn back!

Can I bring my child?

It is an adult drawing event but I appreciate that you may want to attend with a young person who is interested in drawing. They must be at least secondary school age and must be accompanied by you if under 16.
