About this event

Community • Heritage

Take a stroll through St. Martin, wandering the enchanting Valley of Rozel, once the cherished land of two remarkable gentlemen, Samuel Curtis and Edmund Blampied.

Imagine yourself as a visitor in the 1850s, drawn to explore the magnificent gardens that once graced the grounds of Chateau Le Chaire. Today, we can only catch fleeting glimpses of these lost gardens, stirring our imaginations about their former splendour.

Thanks to etchings left by Edmund Blampied, we are allowed a window into his world, bringing to life the beauty he once beheld.

A walk of 2 miles. Meeting near the Hungry Man café, parking on Le Mont de Rozel, bus route 3.

Supported by The Jersey Community Foundation with funds from the Channel Islands Lottery.
