A free online course of introductory sessions on meditation

About this event

Would you like to live a life free from stress? Especially right now, in these exceptional circumstances, would it be helpful for you to have techniques which give you the choice in any moment to choose for calm and contentment?

This is a free course on Zoom of introductory sessions on meditation to give everyone the opportunity to deal with any anxiety or stress they are experiencing, and also to give a clear understanding of what meditation actually is, how it works and why it is so helpful. There will be a scientific approach as well as experiential. The series is also the perfect lead in to learning an ancient meditation practice, should you wish to continue.

Some of the issues the series will address:

Not being able to sleep

Fear of anxiousness and panic

Worrying about finances and work

Intense emotions

Fear of the future

Am I making the right decisions?

Feelings of inadequacy

All of which are very common reasons for stress in the life of a musician, and now with this very unusual set of circumstances brought on by the pandemic, they can feel even more intense than before.
