But how to bring this into reality? Where and how do you start? And most importantly, what should you expect?
In our experience people always make the mistake of flying before they can walk. Having clear concise plan to achieve, at every stage of your development, is the methodology that is required to ensure success. The reason why 90% of businesses fail, is because of failure to understand the level of commitment and sacrifice required. Whether you are a sportsman budding to be Olympic Champion or an artist looking to win Grammy’s and Oscars, the same theory applies. In reality, it takes five years before a start-up starts moving out of ‘start-up’ classification. This is usually the safe zone, but you’d be wrong. Be complacent and you will fail.
99% of these failures are due to not following, understanding or just ignoring, the 5 stages of business growth.
In this fast pace workshop we will explore how mitigate your risk and understand your limits. Don’t sell up all your worldly possessions on thinking your dream will be a success! Instead, learn to understand your idea, your market, your customers, your risk, your brand, business operations and everything that is required to be self-sustainable.
About the Facillator:
Alex Alinia has worked in various roles ranging from Hospitality to IT & Finance to Business Consultancy over the past 10 years, specialising in start-up and business transformation.

In his spare time he has also decided to pursue the small task of launching his family’s food production business, consisting of family owned Persian recipes collected over 4 generations of home cooking.
By the end of this workshop you will understand how to:
- Establish a business structure – how to create an organisation, from a one person band? Where do you start? Most importantly, how do you create a scalable structure?
- Establish a customer Base – Money, money, money. Most important part of business, how do you target the right people and markets?
- Establish Market Presence – What is your USP’s? In every idea, you will no doubt have a competitor, how will you distinguish yourself apart from the rest?
- Understand IT, in its basic form, at a minimum. Then hire the right people to take charge of that department. Don’t be the “I don’t even know how to turn on a computer” person.
