In today’s crowded markets you have to really connect with your customer.  This session will help you understand what they truly value and how to communicate with them.

Business Model Canvas

Before writing the business plan we start with the BMC, a great tool that gives you a rapid overview of how everything works together across your whole business. 


When you’re networking you want to be memorable (for the right reasons!) and for your business to stand out from the rest.  Our pitching structure will help you to do that so people engage you or connect you to the right people.

On the day we will be helping you work on your business or idea so you walk away with practical next steps.  You will learn how to test the market and develop your customer base, build an effective business model and then pitch it concisely so you can connect with the right people.

Landing a deal with a big customer is a goal for many new start businesses – be that local or international.  But, getting the order is only the start.  If you don’t understand the small print, you may have agreed terms that you can’t meet, with serious consequences.  How do you protect the deal and yourself? And what are the nuts and bolts required to trade internationally?

The aim of this session is to introduce the  concept of trading Internationally, and to understand what is involved. We will highlight some of the payment and account type options and look into the full sales processes applicable to trading locally & internationally.

In this session we will cover:

  • When a sale really counts
  • How to professionally set out standards of engagement with suppliers and customers
  • Practical  tips on:   Invoicing, Delivery Notes, Terms & conditions, Returns Policy, Credit Control
  • Business Bank accounts
  • Cards & Payments
  • Business Lending
  • Asset Finance

KPMG will share with you why your business data, both financial and other key metrics, should be essential elements of your business plan. KPMG will discuss how they can assist with enabling growth and success of your business.
