Overview

3D art / sculpture is a core element of the Art National Curriculum and at times can be a tricky area to get to grips with!

The course will provide you with the necessary means / ways to explore the potential of creating 3D art commencing with 2D ideas. As part of this course, we explore the various starting points that have potential, sources of inspiration, support from the use of established art forms and the organisation and teaching methods needed to make great 3D art from 2D ideas.

This is a really engaging session which mixes both theoretical and hands on learning opportunities. The course is suitable for those who want to improve their personal teaching in art and those who want to have an impact on teaching across the school.
