Description

Taking Funerals Seriously is a one day presentation for clergy, lay Ministers and others involved in funeral ministry. New research and resources are making a difference to this crucial ministry where we show God’s love and share God’s story with thousands every year.
The one day workshop will
• Explore major new research findings emerging from the Archbishops’ Council Funerals Project
• Discover exciting new resources to help support your funeral ministry
• Hear how ‘GraveTalk’ resource is helping to break the taboo around death, dying and funerals

The workshop will be held at St Andrews Church, Burgess Hill.

The workshop will start at 9:45 for coffee and 10am start, bring your own lunch and coffee & tea will be available. The workshop will finish around 4pm.

The Revd Dr Sandra Millar, Head of Projects and Developments for the national Church of England, is leading workshop which helps the whole church think about how it can engage more effectively with people around weddings, funerals and christenings.
