Event description

Description

Following on from the election of 2017, the newly configured board of the 'ACBS UK and Republic of Ireland Chapter' are excited to announce a launch event that will take place on March 28th 2018 in London.

We hope that you will join us for what promises to be an enriching and informative day. The principal objective of the event is to provide attendees with ACT-informed knowledge and skills that will allow them to grow as clinicians, researchers and influencers.

The plan for the day includes: a presidential address by David Gillanders; the hugely popular 'Self-esteem Made Simple' workshop facilitated by Joe Oliver and Richard Bennett, promoting social inclusion and celebrating diversity (Lene Forrester); supporting the mental health of refugee and asylum seeking communities (Ross White); a chance to meet several UK based ACT authors, and the chance to have your say about the development of contextual behavioural science (CBS) in the UK.

There will also be important networking opportunities so that attendees can get to know and connect with fellow CBS colleagues.
