Taking Up Space as a Creative is a celebration of representation, community, and innovation in the creative industry. Hosted by Fuse – a dynamic collective dedicated to empowering Black, Asian, and Global Majority creatives – we're thrilled to host our first event in London at Sondr!We're inviting three incredible speakers to come and share their journeys, experiences, and difficulties navigating the creative industry as a person of colour. There'll also be time to network before and after the talks!Refreshments will be available on arrival. OUR SPEAKERS:
Jen Wong (Midweight Designer at Studio Blackburn)
Jen is a Hong Kong designer currently at Studio Blackburn, specialising in branding and art direction. Her practice explores the intersection of visual communication and culture, working across both print and digital media. Her previous work includes the Olympic Museum, Ventura Foreman, and the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
Minori Iwahashi (Senior Social Content Creative at ASOS)
Minori is a Japanese social content creator & strategist based in London, currently working at ASOS as a Senior Social Creative. With over 7 years of industry experience (previously at JD Sports, Tokyo 2020 Olympics, and The Hut Group), creativity is at the heart of everything she does. From viral red carpet moments with Cynthia Erivo and Pedro Pascal to the most recent asos x adidas Originals runway in Warren Street, she has an eye for good content and knows what works best for brands.
Hashmukh Kerai (3D Artist and Motion Designer)
Hash is a 3D Artist and Motion Designer from London, UK. He creates bold, colourful art that radiates fun and playfulness in every piece. Hash’s creative journey began in Film and Production, where he honed his visual storytelling skills. His path took an exciting turn when he discovered his true passion, VFX, especially Motion Graphics and Design. This transition allowed him to fully explore his fascination with moving imagery, which became a constant throughout his career.
