About this event

Many of us took services and activities online so we could continue supporting our communities and beneficiaries during the pandemic and the restrictions this brought. With the uncertainty of future face to face delivery, and vulnerable individuals continuing to isolate, it looks like use of digital channels are here to stay.

But how can we build in interactivity and human connection to improve our online sessions, so they are not just a second class offering?

Please come prepared to share your learning from recent months with your peers.,

The session lasts 2 hours , and there will be an additional 30 minutes after that time for any questions and networking.

The session will cover:

• Things to think about when planning your sessions

• Interactivity and human connection ideas

• Different ways to manage conversations

• Different digital platforms and tools (with a focus on Zoom)

• Safeguarding considerations

Outcomes:

By the end of the session you'll:

• Be able to identify digital platforms and tools appropriate for you to us

• Be confident to embed interactivity and human connection into your online delivery

• Have learnt from your peers what has worked well for them
