Charlotte Campbell, Head of Sales & Partner Enablement at Dell EMC & Clare Brown, Senior Sales Manager, Utilities & Manufacturing Industry at Dell EMC

Charlotte and Clare will talk about their experiences of developing and retaining talent within a sales context. Imposed reductions in workforce through to  major acquisitions, what strategies do you need to deploy in order to keep the ship steady, as a minimum, whilst motivating in order to retain key talent in times of change.

This session will be pragmatic rather than theoretical and our opinions will be our own!  However, with 43 years of combined experience in Technology sales, we promise to be thoughtful and helpful with our perspectives. 

Charlotte Campbell is Head of Sales & Partner Enablement at Dell EMC, with responsibility for driving the company’s quality of sale agenda across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to this, Charlotte was head of Sales Talent & Transformation at She has worked in the technology industry for the past 22 years, for companies including Cisco and StrataCom, with several roles focusing on management consultancy. 

Charlotte is a Founding Fellow of the Association of Professional Sales. She holds the role of Vice President for Education & Academia, with the goal of achieving Chartership status for the sales profession in the UK.

Clare Brown leads a team of account executives selling into DellEMCs top Enterprise accounts across the Utilities & Manufacturing Verticals

She is responsible for the creation and execution of the Dell Technologies Value Proposition, sales strategy and go-to-market model, both for direct customer and business partner engagement, in these key market segments.

Prior to working at EMC, Clare held various management and sales positions within Hewlett Packard. Clare’s experience has included managing HP’s direct business, major account management and business development roles, spanning a wide range of technologies and industries including the public sector, finance and manufacturing.

Clare has a BA Hons in Business Studies for the University of Sheffield. Clare has a young family and spends most weekends either as a taxi to her children or training for or running triathlons.  She also mentors children from inner city secondary schools and is a committee member of her daughter’s Parents and Friends Association.
