Event description
A songwriting workshop, followed by the 'Bloodrush' release concert featuring winner Fergus McNeill and host Saskia Griffiths-Moore

About this event

Saskia Griffiths-Moore and the age-positive, celebrity-backed movement for songwriters over the age of 50 'Talent Is Timeless', are going on tour across the UK, and coming to Glad Cafe, Glasgow on Wednesday 6th October to celebrate the winner of the nationwide competition Fergus McNeill and the release of his winning song 'Bloodrush'.

This unusual tour consists of an afternoons workshop for songwriters over the age of 50, held at the Titwood Bowling Club, followed by a double headline show by Talent Is Timeless winner (and Glasgow local) Fergus McNeill and competition host, Saskia Griffiths-Moore.

The tickets can be bought either for the workshop or the concert, and there is a discount if you purchase both.

Have you always wanted to write an original song, but don’t know where to start? Join songwriter and performer Saskia Griffiths-Moore for a songwriting workshop for the over 50s that proves that you are never too old to write compelling music.

From igniting sparks to writing a chorus, verse, bridge and melody you will leave the workshop with a fully written song. While being surrounded by like-minded individuals at all levels, building a community that proves talent really is timeless.

Join us in the evening to experience ground breaking acoustic music from internationally touring artist Saskia Griffiths-Moore celebreating her new album 'Where Are We Heading' and Glasgow local Fergus McNeill celebrating the release of his winning single 'Bloodrush'.
