Talent Management – How Organisations Are Developing & Retaining Their Best...
Thu 6 April 2017, 13:30 – 16:30 BST
“Talent management seeks to attract, identify, develop, engage, retain and deploy individuals who are considered particularly valuable to an organisation.” (CIPD)
Talent management should ensure that current and future business needs are met. But what does building a talent strategy actually involve? Is it about leadership training and/or team development? Is it for one or for all? Who is involved, can L&D/HR help? When does ‘talent management’ start, and what kind of approaches are organisations using?
Four L&D professionals from within the GL&D community will be sharing their knowledge of implementing talent management strategies and will share their experiences of what’s worked and what hasn’t!
Gloucestershire L&D (GL&D) is a special interest group facilitated by Gloucestershire CIPD branch. This event is designed for L&D professionals who are willing to share their experience of talent management and with an interest in the issues, to come together to share, learn and discover new insights.
Registration from 1.00pm. Event starts at 1.30pm, finishes at 4.30pm.
Teas, coffee and biscuits will be provided on arrival and mid-afternoon.
Free parking is available at Twigworth Court Business Centre
