About this Event

Continuing from where October’s Launch Event left off, this get together will again focus on the wide range of Diversity & Inclusion initiatives currently being enabled within Scotland’s Technology community – with specific focus on the practical steps that we, as individuals, can take to “make a difference”.

Speakers:

Ketty Lawrence, Digital Skills Project Manager at Skills Development Scotland

Ketty is Project Manager for the Scottish Government funded Digital Skills Investment Programme, and has designed, developed and led a number of initiatives to help close Scotland’s digital skills gap with a particular focus on gender and diversity. Ketty leads delivery of the “Tackling the Technology Gender Gap Together programme”, engaging with public agencies and stakeholders throughout the skills supply pipeline and industry helping to create partnerships on which to drive action forward.

About CodeYourFuture: "We are a non-profit organisation supporting refugees and disadvantaged individuals with the dream of becoming developers.
