Join professional London storyteller Vanessa Woolf for a colourful interactive storytime with music, props and even smells!
Book a ticket to enjoy a 30-minute story time plus the chance to explore our exhibition and enjoy drop-in crafts. Recommended for children aged 5 – 11 but all are welcome. All children must be accompanied by an adult but accompanying adults can attend free and don’t need to book.
The Royal College of Physicians has collected books for over 500 years. Today the RCP Heritage Library has over 50,000 books! In 1666 the RCP library was all-but destroyed in the Great Fire of London. Come along this half-term, join in, meet our storyteller and help uncover the secret of the mysterious woman who rebuilt our library!
Everyone who joins this storytelling event will also have the opportunity to drop in to our ‘Patterns, pages and prints ’ craft activity room to have fun with paper-based creation.
This event is inspired by RCP exhibition ‘A body of knowledge’ that explores 500 years of book collecting at the RCP.
Other story times are available on Monday 27 October, to book an alternative time follow the links below:
