About this event

Join us for an evening of astronomy & storytelling at Canolfan Clydau!

The event is a talk and a performance. We'll introduce some basics of naked eye astronomy, including what to look for in the night sky this winter, and recount stories and myths behind some of the constellations and planets of the November and winter skies.

The main presentation will start at 6pm, with two 45mn sessions and an interval to end for 8pm. Weather permitting, we'll take advantage of the dark sky location to identify constellations and search for deep sky objects through an optical telescope from 5:30pm, during the interval, and after the presentation up to 8:30pm. Please bring warm clothes and a hot drink & snack.

The event is suitable for families with children aged 7+.

Tickets also available on the door, but booking is advised.
