About this event

Join us for an evening of astronomy & storytelling at Canolfan Llwynihirion Brynberian!

The event is a talk and a performance. We'll introduce some basics of naked eye astronomy, including what to look for in the night sky this winter, and recount of stories and myths behind some of the constellations and planets of the November and winter skies.

The presentation will start at 6pm, with two 45mn sections and an interval. Weather permitting, we'll take advantage of the dark sky location to identify constellations and search for deep sky objects through an optical telescope from 5:30pm, during the interval and after the presentation up to 8:45pm. Please bring warm clothes. Refreshments will be available for purchase at the Canolfan.

The event is suitable for families with children aged 7+.

Tickets also available on the door, but booking is advised.
