Jhilmilli honours the Bengali women who lit up their communities during Britain’s most turbulent decades. In 1970s and "80s Britain, the Bengali community faced hardship and hostility. Amid the struggle, kindness flourished which strengthened families.

Featuring the dynamic Bangaliana panel, this celebration of Bengali storytelling, comedy, and heritage brings to life acts of kindness shaped by history and shared across time.
