TALK: Community Space Challenge
3rd May 2013
3.30 – 4.00pm
Catch 22, Adrian Taylor
A talk about the Community Space Challenge and Catch22's work over the last few years, its plans for the future, the outcomes, the audiences and spaces it has targeted, and how it aims to sustain the work in the future.
A forward looking social business, Catch22 has over 200 years’ experience of providing services that help people in tough situations to turn their lives around.
Our programmes help those we work with to steer clear of crime or substance misuse, do the best they can in school or college and develop skills for work, live independently on leaving care or custody, gain new skills and confidence as parents, and play a full part in their community.
In 2011/12 we worked directly with 34,000 young people, families and adult offenders in 150 localities, supporting a further 49,000 young people through national partnership programmes. The people we work with may have had tough upbringings, few opportunities, or lived in difficult neighbourhoods.
About Adrian Taylor:
Adrian Taylor is the National Projects Manager for the Community Space Challenge Programme at Catch22. Adrian will be talking about the delivery, outcomes and the growing public space improvement movement.
