How do you conserve a wooden ship built for breaking through unforgiving Antarctic ice 125 years ago?

In this talk by Jason Struthers of JPS Restoration - the Scottish firm carrying out RRS Discovery's major conservation project - we'll find out.

From sharing the ways of traditional techniques; to stories from the ship's timbers; to looking at its future; the talk will unearth tales from Captain Scott's ship as it's never been seen before.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.
