Description

Gallery director and trustee of the Silver Trust Adrian Sassoon talks to Junko Mori, one of the UK’s leading silversmiths. Originally trained as a blacksmith in Japan, Mori distils observations of the natural world and works with the repetition of multiple silver units, creating pieces of great complexity. Her work can be found in numerous public collections, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Museum and Temple Newsam, Leeds.


This event is one of a series of five talks arranged with the support of the Silver Society with experts revealing aspects of Silver from the point of view of the patron, curator, collector and maker. You may also be interested in:
