Chris is a well respected broadcaster with huge experience in growing and helping other people grow vegetables, fruit and other plants in all kinds of places - allotments, garden veg beds, balconies, community gardens and many others.

NOTE: This event will be Live streamed from The Station so that you have the option either to attend the event in person or to access the talk online via zoom.
Doors open 6.30pm for informal mingle prior to the start of the talk at 7pm start and we finish at 8.30pm. Please refer to Covid Policy below.

COVID POLICY FOR MEETINGS AT THE STATION
Ticket holders are requested not to attend if they feel unwell or have any Covid symptoms
The continued wearing of Masks is advised in all public areas of the building, in line with our room hire conditions
Attendees are encouraged to wear face masks in the meeting room
The speaker will not be required to wear a mask
Hand gel will be available
Contact details will be requested on entrance, for track & trace purposes
Attendees are requested to inform AOG if they test positive for Covid after the meeting, so that everyone else may be contacted
Avon Organic Group is the local group in Bristol for everyone who is interested in organic gardening and organic foods. Set up in 1984, Avon Organic Group is affiliated to Garden Organic and the Soil Association. We meet 8 times a year on the 4th Thursday of the month from January to May and September to November - with a programme of talks covering a wide range of subjects of interest to members. Membership benefits include early booking for our meetings with discounted entry and discounts on orders for seeds and other horticultural supplies.
We welcome non-members to all our meetings and events.
