About this event

Living with chronic pain, fatigue and stress can leave us feeling like we are barely holding it together, and that every day is a struggle.

I want to show you that it doesn't have to feel like that - by taking small steps we can make meaningful change, and we can learn to live well with calm, self-compassion and moments of real contentment, even in the midst of ongoing challenges.

Join me for this 1-hour talk, where I’ll share my personal journey into mindfulness - a path that transformed my life and can help transform yours too. Through developing a practice of embodied mindfulness, I was able to reconnect with and learn to trust my body, meet myself with compassion and find the motivation to learn to live well with chronic illness.

I'll outline the following important steps to help you move aware from overwhelm and towards boosted wellbeing:

  • Understanding your overwhelm
  • Creating a turning point
  • Accepting where you are now
  • Building foundations
  • Making mindful choices
  • Advocating for yourself

I'll also outline what mindfulness is, guide you through a simple meditation and share some practical tips and tools you can use to bring a little more intentionality and clarity to your day.

As well as the talk, you'll receive a PDF taking you through some of the steps outlined above. If you are unable to make it but don't want to cancel, I will forward you a recording of the talk.
