Talk HR: Equal Pay Audits - Housing Sector
Tue 4 April 2017, 08:00 – 09:30 BST
Addressing pay inequality is one of the government’s aims and with the forthcoming gender pay gap reporting requirements there will be closer scrutiny on organisational pay. The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 will require organisations with more than 250 employees to produce specific statistics, but these will not in themselves highlight whether equal pay risks exist. The gender pay gap requirements may not apply to your organisation but equal pay legislation does.
Why should I attend?
- To identify what pay practices could potentially leave you exposed to equal pay risks
- To consider whether your current gender pay gap figures give you the whole picture
- To enable you to form a view as to whether your current approach to pay remains fit for purpose
