About this event

In our society, we don’t talk about death enough, yet it’s something that touches us all, and something we will all experience for ourselves, at some point.

I truly believe that getting comfortable talking about death, will leave us better armed to deal with it when the time comes. Hopefully this will leave us informed of our choices, and will reduce unnecessary trauma for ourselves and our loved ones.

‘Talk it to Death’ is a safe space to join with others to discuss and reflect on death, dying and related subjects. In this group, you will be invited (without pressure) to share your stories and experiences, and to respectfully and non judgementally witness the stories of others.

Together, I hope we can start to build a society that no longer fears death, but embraces it as part of life.

*This group is not a substitute for bereavement support. If you are in the heavy depths of grief, you will be held and heard, but I would highly recommend seeking more relevant and appropriate support.

“It’s only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth – and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up – that we will begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had” – Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
