About this Event

Author and historian Maureen Penrose will be talking about her book My Northern Adventure. 17 year old Totton lad Edwin Henning went to live in Liverpool in 1940 after his family were bombed out of their home. Decades later Maureen found his weekly letters home, giving a fantastic insight into the past. There will be an opportunity to buy a copy of the book from Maureen (cash or cheque only).

Talks are held in the John Chandler Activity Room in the Visitor Centre. They begin at 7pm, end at 8pm and are followed by the chance to ask questions. The Mill Cafe is open from 6.30pm for tea, coffee and cake.
